Our beloved Father and Pastor Wayne C. Thompson has transitioned, taking his greatest step to Eternal Glory on Monday, June 13, 2023.
Wayne C. Thompson was a pastor, broadcaster, evangelist and author. He was a loving and devoted husband for 49 years to the late First Lady Geraldine G. Thompson, an incredible father, and a steadfast friend. He founded and pastored the Fellowship of Faith Church International for over 45 years, and Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy for over three decades.
He has impacted millions of lives through his faith, wisdom, and unshakeable hope in Christ Jesus.
Please pray for our family, the staff and ministries, and the Body of Christ who will dearly miss him yet are thankful for the opportunity to have been enriched by his love.

Christian education for children, ages 6 weeks through the 12th Grade, is provided by the church’s school - Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy. At SACA, we believe that God has uniquely created each of His children and imbued them with gifts to be used to bring Him honor and glory. We consider it our responsibility to unfold this uniqueness, and these gifts to motivate each child to do his utmost to achieve and exemplify excellence in every aspect of his life. Thus, all learning is rooted in the understanding of faith in God and the power of His Word, and to transform every student to greatness.
